Join the FeedbackFruits Pilot!
In 2023 UniSQ, led by Technology Demonstrators, will pilot Feedback Fruits. The pilot starts in June and we have full access to the suite of tools now to prepare you and your courses.
What is FeedbackFruits?
It is a unique educational technology suite of tools that provides the creation of engaging learning experiences within Moodle for activities including peer review, group member evaluation, interactive video, and team based learning. This this tool is used internationally to engage students and support assessment. Why FeedbackFruits?
It is relevant pedagogically in higher education, providing opportunities for active learning and social as well as academic interaction. Use of this edtech tool aligns with stated goals in the UniSQ Education Plan 2022-2025 such as “creative teaching practices through embedding existing and emerging technologies”, and “strengthen assessment design and feedback processes.”

Student Engagement SIG
Join convenor Katrina Cutcliffe on Tuesday May 16, 1-2pm for the next Student Engagement SIG.
This meeting focuses on both research and practice. In one of our early sessions as a SIG, Dr Alice Brown presented and unpacked the online engagement framework for higher education (see Redmond et al., 2018). (You can view the recording here.)
Dr Alice Brown has led numerous research projects that have focussed on enhancing and extending the online engagement framework for higher education (see Redmond et al., 2018), particularly compiling a range of strategies to support educators and learning designers with integrating online engagement practices within their courses and as part of their pedagogy. In this workshop, we will find out more about elements, indicators and associated strategies for online engagement.
