A Note from Dr. Hooks
Dear Hyde-Addison ES Families,
You are appreciated and we are grateful for you all! Let us continue to find ways to demonstrate gratitude, grace and understanding, any time of the year. Please see the November Equity and Anti-Racism Task Force Newsletter, for resources to support discussions during this holiday season.
As part of the DCPS phased reopening plan, Hyde-Addison ES is scheduled to open a 2nd Grade CARE classroom, as early as December 9, 2020, contingent upon safety regulations, staffing and parent interest. Updates will be shared, as applicable. Please complete this Reopen Strong Hyde-Addison ES Community Survey, to share your feedback around possible future reopening options.
Please keep you and your loved ones safe. For resources and information about the District of Columbia Government’s coronavirus (COVID-19) response and recovery efforts, please visit coronavirus.dc.gov. Please visit dcpsreopenstrong.com or backtoschool.dc.gov for DCPS virtual learning resources.
Kindest Regards,
Dr. Calvin Hooks, Principal
