Viking School

We want to say welcome back to all of our families who are returning to Viking School. We are also very excited to meet our new families joining our school community for the first time this 2021-2022 school year. Walking through the classrooms and halls of Viking School this week, the dedication and commitment to your children is evident as teachers and staff members have been diligently preparing to welcome your children back to school.

We are excited for next week and can not wait to see everyone!

ECS staggered start

Our Kindergarten has a staggered start on Sept. 7th. Parents will receive an email/call from Mrs. Arndt with your scheduled time. Due to the staggered start first day of bussing for Kindergarten will be Sept. 9th.

Student Entrances

Please use the following designated entrances for your child (see the following map) These entrances are to be used for morning arrival (drop off) and departure (pick up) after school.

Entering and exiting the school:

● Front doors of the school : Grade 1 and Kindergarten

● East”Recess doors”: Grade 3, Grade 5

● South Elementary doors: Grade 2, Grade 4

● High School Doors (students parking doors): Grade 10, 11, 12

● Junior High Doors (by drama/art rooms): Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9

Students / families and staff must complete a Daily Self-Assessment and STAY HOME if they are sick

Families must complete the Daily Self-Assessment each morning, for everyone who is going to school.

Anyone who is not feeling well must stay home and is asked to follow the guidance provided in the self-assessment tool to determine their next steps. The self-assessment does not need to be brought to school each day.
