10:15-11:35 Senior Awards Ceremony in the Durant Auditorium

11:35-Graduation Reminders for Seniors

12:00-Load buses for Senior Picnic​

5 Color Guard Members competed at NTCA Solo and Ensemble on May 5th. All 5 also earned Division 1s as well. 4 students also earned a high enough score to advance to the All Stars (State) contest next week! Super proud of their work this year!

June Band Camp – June 4th-8th @ WHS (8:00-11:00 am and 12:30-3:30 pm)

The WHS Career & Technical Education Awards Ceremony was held on May 10th. Many students were recognized for their service as club officers, for success in student competitions and as outstanding students as selected by each teacher.

SCRUBS is proud to announce WHS collected a grand total of $2237.99! Cowboying for Kids foundation will match our donation.

We are to be a part of a school who is so generous!!!

Ms. Buckner's second period class is the big winner and will get to travel for the day to Cook Children's Hospital on May 18th for the day! Ms. Buckner will receive a free facial with the WHS cosmetology department. $666.04 was their total.

Second place is Mr. Comstock's 2nd period class, who will be receiving breakfast from Chick-fil-a. $298.34 total collected. Great job, everyone!

Catholic Charities are offering a scholarship for students planning to attend Weatherford College. This scholarship is based on financial need and twenty five scholarships are being given to pay for tuition. Students will need to submit two references, two essays, a transcript, and confirmation of the FAFSA application. Everyone who applies will get a personal interview. Applications are available in the Counseling Center and the deadline to apply is June 29.
