Transportation Update 9.10

I hope everyone enjoye a nice 3-day weekend. At least the kids did!

I want to thank everyone for being understanding as routes are altered or kids get home a little later than normal when we have to condense routes due to driver outages. We will continue getting your kiddos home.

NEW CONSTRUCTION

The Town of Sunnyvale is beginning road construction on Larkin Rd. This affects Bus 20.

Monday 2/26

Bus 20 will run as normal for the AM route.

We will not be able to service Larkin Rd for the PM route. It will be shut down for culvert repair.

Tuesday 2/27

Westbound Larkin Rd will be shut down.

We will pick up everyone on the way out starting with Calais Ct about 650 am.

We will drop everyone on Larkin heading eastbound in the afternoons.

Please be out and ready. If you are not utilizing the Bus App, I encourage you to start.

I do not expect times to be altered for Long Creek and Riverstone Townhomes.

We will adjust times after we run it a time or two once they close westbound.

BUS CARDS

The cards are working. Please encourage your child to remember to scan on and off. Most are doing an amazing job. Thank you!

Observations -

Lanyards are breaking. If yours is broken, please see your principal for a replacement. Please remind your child that these are not toys. We are not charging for the 1st replacement during this trial run.

Protectors are breaking. If yours is torn or broken, see your principal for a replacement. If you can tape it or staple it so the card does not fall out, please do.

Lost card - If your card is lost, please notify your principal or contact transportation. Again, we will replace it once for no charge during this trial run.

2nd Replacement will cost you $5.

Please keep your cards away from magnets or phones. These things can deactivate the card.
