From the Desk of Nurse Roz...
We have seen an increase in illnesses at the Warren Early Childhood Center. If your child is ill with vomiting, diarrhea or a fever please keep them home until they are free of all symptoms for 24 hours. If your child has a fever they must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication.
Here are some other general precautions:
- Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread this way.
- Cover coughs and sneezes. Use a tissue to cover coughs and sneezes, then dispose of the tissue. When a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill.
- Wash hands for 20 seconds. Washing hands often under clean, running water can help prevent the spread of germs. For more guidance see the
Please help us keep your family and our school family healthy!
CORE in our School Community
- Demonstrate civility by leaving handicapped designated spaces for those with permits
- Exhibit order by keeping your vehicle turned off while students are loading/unloading
- Show respect toward other drivers on our campus
- Promote excellence by getting your child to school each day, attendance matters
Thank you for modeling CORE citizenship for our children!

Car Line Reminders
In order to keep our children safe, please keep this in mind;
"While cars are moving, children shouldn't be and while children are moving, cars shouldn't be."
It is also important for engines to be turned off while in the loading zone until you are directed by ECC staff that children are clear and cars may safely be dismissed.
Dismissal Notes
- ECC has two different dismissals each afternoon; full day at 3:30 p.m. & half day at 3:55 p.m. If you arrive early for half day dismissal, please wait in the center lane at the bottom of the hill until full day dismissal has concluded.
- Please remember that individuals picking children up must be on the pick up list in the office and have a picture ID.
