Greetings Bell HS Family,
I hope this message finds you and your family in great health and sound in mind! As we prepare for the 15-week academic reporting period for all our students, I want to remind all parents and students, if you are having a difficult time or are struggling with your class assignments, attendance or need tutoring, or a plan of action please know we are here to help! The first thing you should do for additional help is Message your teacher or make an appointment during Office Hours every Monday from 12:40 to 1:15 pm.

Attention ALL Seniors, from our College Counselor Mr. Marquez, we have schedule College Application support with our TELACU Talent Search, UCLA EAOP and ETS team every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 1 pm by logging onto the following Meeting ID: 841 8564 889 Passcode: COLLEGE. Please note there a very important due dates:
- UC and Cal State Applications are due November 30, 2020
- Private Schools vary most are due by January 1, 2021
- FASFA should be completed by March 15, 2021

Do We COVID TEST? YES, We COVID TEST!
LAUSD has embarked on an ambitious plan to Covid test our staff, students and families. The test is free to all members of the school community. In an effort to help keep our communities and schools safe, we ask for members of our learning community to register and make an appointment at https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt
Further, Bell HS will host a pop-up Covid Testing Center at the school for ALL students, it is scheduled on the following dates: Saturday, November 14 from 9 am to 3 pm and again Monday, November 16 to Wednesday, November 18 from 1 pm to 6 pm, please register ahead at https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt
NOVEMBER 11, 2020 is VETERANS DAY – NO SCHOOL
Please be aware as a Country every year on November 11thwe celebrate Veterans Day! There will be no school because it is a federal holiday in the United States and it observed annually, for honoring all US military veterans, that is, persons who have served in the United States Armed Forces. On behalf of the Bell HS Learning Community we thank all our alumni that have served or who are still serving on the US Armed Forces…THANK YOU!
WHEN IS THE NEXT FOO BANK? WE GOT FOOD BANK WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2020!
I am pleased to announce, our Grab & Go continues to help our school community everyday from Monday to Friday from 7 to 10 am! Further, on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th we will have our next LA Food Bank distribution from 7-10 am, please drive up on Pine Ave. and NO ID is required. This could not be possible with out the help from, Bell HS Cafeteria LA, Beyond the Bell, City of Bell Recreation Center, and the LA Food Bank. Our motto will continue be “No Family Will GO Hungry”.

The survey is for all employees, students, and parents.
