The Walker Talker

Senior, Jaylen Coleman, is currently getting an opportunity to showoff his culinary skills to Walker Career Center and Warren Central staff as he is completing his Work Based Learning experience with Chartwells in our faculty lounge this school year.

One of the amazing things about Walker Career Center is the opportunities it can present students while they are enrolled in our programs. We have several students out in the community earning money their senior year while they continue to perfect their skills. In automotive, seniors Rayland McIntosh, Ryan Wright, and Sammy Chifalo are getting this experience at Ed Martin and Inskeep Ford.

Students in Graphic Design are now able to work on printing an image directly to the garment without having to go through the screen process. I am excited to see the Walker Career Center T-Shirt game being on point next year!

Congratulations to the Digital Goats Robotics Team as they were awarded a $3,000 team grant from Bayer Fund for their participation in FIRST Robotics as well as a $1,500 team grant from FIN.

Warrior Nation's Favorite Station, WEDM 91.1 will have live coverage this evening of the Warren Central vs. Center Grove starting at 7:00 PM . You can listen through 91.1 FM, or by downloading the WEDM App which is available on Google Play and Apple.
