Meet the Muskego Lakes Principals
Muskego Lakes Associate Principal
Muskego Lakes Principal
Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
This week, in honor of Veteran's Day, we took time to reflect and honor those who have served our country. We shared the following message with students during our morning announcements:
"Veterans Day is a day to remember the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
President Ronald Reagan described it this way: 'We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them became champions of a noble cause.'
So Muskies, how can you, too, be a champion of a noble cause? Are you a leader in your classes, in the hallways, and in the community? Do you stand up for the rights of other students so they feel included and valued at Muskego Lakes?
Veterans are heroes and role models. So if you know a veteran, be sure to thank them for their service."
This week, students at Muskego Lakes had the opportunity to speak to a veteran, watch a video about why we celebrate Veterans Day, and write thank you notes to those who have served. These letters will be delivered to local veterans this weekend. We are proud of our students for taking time to reflect and honor our military service members, and we want to express our gratitude to those of you who serve our country.
With love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

Report Cards and Looking Ahead to Quarter 2

Report Cards in IC - Mobile App
It's a perfect time for students to reflect and plan for the quarter ahead using their grades and the comments from teachers on how students' learning is progressing towards showing proficiency. Here are some questions you could ask your child to help aid this reflection:
- What went well in the 1st quarter?
- What is something you would like to improve on in the 2nd quarter?
- What is your plan for improvement?
- What resources do you think you would need?
- Who do you think would be able to support you?
When students play an active role in their education, they take greater ownership, achieve higher levels, and develop skills that will support their high school and beyond development. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to the accomplishments and growth that our students will have! They always continue to amaze us with their growth and gains.

Webinar Subscription -
We are so excited to share with you that we have received a grant from Waukesha County Health and Human Services that will allow schools in Waukesha County access to our ever so popular substance abuse and mental health webinars at NO COST for all your parents in the school district. Parents will receive exclusive access to over 30 webinars on the topics of anxiety, depression, suicide, substance abuse, vaping and much more that they can watch on their own time and in the comfort of their own home.
Here is how it works – you share with parents that this service is now available to them for the 2021-2022 school year. Then parents register by
1. Going to https://www.yourchoiceprevention.org/webinars-members-school,
2. Clicking “join”

Then they can access these webinars whenever they wish. A flyer that you can share with parents is attached.
