We had a great first day back on campus! Thank you parents for making sure your students were healthy before leaving home, and equipping your students with masks (no neck gators please), water bottles, snacks and layered clothing.
The students were excited and a little nervous, but sure glad to see their friends and teachers!
Thank you for your patience as we establish drop off and pick up routines and flow patterns.
for this week we are having staff park on the shoulder north of the school. For this week, parents of Kindergartners and (later this week) first grade parents may park in the parking lot to walk their students into school
Thank you for having your children ready to pop out of the car in the morning--that really helps with avoiding congestion on the road.
For afternoon pick up, we are going to work hard to make sure all classes are out right at 12:00, so those of you with multiple children won't have to wait too long.
Officer Chen from the California Highway Patrol was monitoring our program today, and asked me to relay his gratitude to you all for working together to make sure we are keeping our children safe.
Our goal is to complete this school year with zero cases of COVID-19. We appreciate your help in making this a reality.
We have made a great start to a strong finish of the longest school year in history!
