Buffalos,

Thank you so much to everyone that made our carnival a tremendous success. We had volunteers that spent hours preparing for this event, and our PTO displays dedication that is unbelievable. We appreciate everyone that donated treats to the carnival and purchased raffle tickets. This event is successful due to the involvement of our entire Berryton community. A few items of note:

• PTO Meal Night on Tuesday- Come out on Tuesday, October 4 and enjoy a meal at Arby's which will benefit our PTO.

• Pre-K at Berryton- Berryton offers all day Pre-K to 20 students each year and the first step in having your child considered for this program is participating in an Early Childhood screener. Attached below is information from our website regarding these screeners.

• Super Camp for 5th and 6th Grade- Our students had a blast on Wednesday and Friday developing leadership, communication and critical thinking skills. We reviewed components of Quantum Learning and had students work in small groups.

• Berryton Fan Gear- Who's ready for some new Berryton spirit wear? Our team store is open! Click on the button below to get to the site. There are 4 designs and numerous options for apparel available. The site also has directions regarding how to get the shirts sent to the school.

• Upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences- Sign up below to reserve a Parent Teacher conference time. Conferences will be offered via Zoom or in person again this year.

• Halloween Festivities- BES is planning to have Halloween parties this year instead of Trick or Treating at 9:30 on October 25. Following the parties at 10:00 we will have a building wide parade outside (with weather permitting). More details will be coming soon.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
