Amazon Wish List for Student Store
Our elementary school holds a monthly school store for our 1st-5th grade Dragons. Students have the opportunity to earn Sparky Bucks for the store throughout the year. They earn these bucks by exemplifying our behavior expectations:

-Be Kind
Students redeem their Sparky Bucks by shopping for various items at our student store. They may also choose to save up for a more expensive item. This model creates buy-in for ALL students to do the right thing and be recognized and celebrated for it!
We are always looking for new things to add to our store, and appreciate any support you are able to provide. If you would like to donate anything from our Wish List, our link is listed below. All purchases will be sent directly to school to be added to the store. Thank you in advance!

Library News
Hello Dragons!!
Welcome back, the books and I have missed you so much! I am excited for this new school year and all the wonderful new stories to be read. Next week your dragon will be coming to the library, possibly for the first time to hear a story and learn about all that the library has to offer. Your dragon will soon be getting a book bag that will have an informational flier in it. Please take time to read this flier with your dragon as it talks about their visit to the library, the check-out process, returning books every week in order to check out another book, and the responsibility that goes with borrowing books from the Sierra library. Lots of cool things happen in our library throughout the school year, there are books fairs, Accelerated Reader program prizes, the Birthday Book Club, and the much anticipated California Young Reader Medal. It’s going to be a fantastic year. Remember, good things happen when you read!
