News & Upcoming Events
Good Morning OES families!
We have had another busy week at OES! I have spent a lot of time in classrooms this week covering for absent employees, enjoying activities in the classrooms, and connecting with students. This time of year can be challenging for some students, providing them with additional support is always beneficial.
We continue to have a few students that are consistently being rude and disrespectful to the adults at OES. I will be reaching out to these parents to schedule in person meetings if these behaviors continue this week.
The Lotto Calendar Fundraiser is wrapping up - all tickets, funds, and unused calendars need to be returned by Friday. In addition, the final day for the food drive is Friday as well.
Many students are leaving sweatshirts, jackets, snow pants, boots, and other items around the building everyday. At the end of the day all of these items are placed in the lost and found, located in the lower entry way. Please remind students to check the lost and found for their items.
The weather forecast is predicting LOTS of snow for tomorrow. Please be sure students are dressed appropriately, we all love fresh snow! Students enjoy making snow families, sledding, and building forts. The excitement of new snow in the lower grades is contagious!
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
