SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT
WCS is looking for 7th & 8th-grade students to join the Student Leadership Team! We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic, role models to serve as ambassadors for the student body and to make a positive impact on the school and community. Students can pick up an application from Mrs. Dimbleby and submit it by 9/26.
Today was School Picture Day and smiles were seen everywhere! If you were absent and missed having your student photographed, picture make-up day will take place next Friday, 9/30.
Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join the SCHOOL NEWSPAPER! The newspaper (called The Woolwich Word) will be written, designed, and published by students. Applications are available in Ms. Hoskins' room and are due back on Monday, 9/26. Students with questions can email Ms. Hoskins at: ahoskins@rsu1.org
KINDERGARTEN IS GROWING UP
This week, Kindergarten planned their Lettuce Grow Farm Stand outside the classrooms. They learned about the health benefits of growing and eating greens including nutrition, improved air quality, and decreased anxiety. Way-to-grow!
