Before school was done, these very creative 7th graders used colored pencils and their imagination to design a dragon eye! In class, they discussed that an eyeball is actually a 3-D sphere and how to draw an image of that sphere and still make it look realistic.

Sean Wahlin is a biology major/chemistry minor at the University of Dubuque. He is doing a summer research project on the dilution effect of Lyme Disease in correlation to the coyote population in Iowa County, Wisconsin. He’d like to thank his high school teachers, Mr. Steger and Mr. Austin, for inspiring his love of science!
