Recently, we were informed that Strength Sports Junior Olympics have been moved from Las Vegas in June to Des Moines Iowa. This was unexpected by Strength Sports and USKSL. We have been working with Strength Sports to create an alternative to JO for June. We have developed an absolutely fantastic plan. Here are the highlights:

• The June competition will be an international competition for Kettlebell Sport. This is huge!
• AAU will provide medals marked as International Competition. This means that lifters will receive AAU International awards!
• As an international event winners will be candidates for official world record holders registered with AAU. Since this is the first Kettlebell competition, chances of official World Record Standing are high.
• These benefits are equally true for adult competitors!
• Keep in mind that this event is also a qualifier for the IUKL World Championship US team!

Rhonda Glick, Moses Dunca and Borys Melnyk will be attending a lifting event in Las Vegas the weekend of April 14th. We will update the lifting community as developments occur.

The mission of USA Kettlebell Sport Lifting is to develop Kettlebell Sport and Fitness in the United States to all ages and backgrounds. Along with the above, is to achieve a united Team as well as sustained International and Olympic competitive success. Fostering a shared commitment to safety, integrity, unity and the joy of Kettlebell Sport Lifting.

USKSL has now joined with AAU Strength Sports to unite all lifters within the USA under one platform. See you on the platform!
