Happy Friday Bulldog Families,

Yesterday and today were pretty amazing...we finally got some much needed rain! Thank you to our students, staff, and families for being flexible and patient with our dismissal. Even though we rely on the trusted Perry Weather app, rainy days are so tricky to call. We will make these calls at approximately 2:45, moving forward, in efforts to try to make the most accurate call for our dismissal. When severe weather arrives, all parents need a car rider sign (the one with the bar code). The link to request one is at the bottom of our newsletter. Texas weather is so unpredictable, but we will certainly do our best to make the safest decision for our little bulldogs.

Next week is GOHS Homecoming and we want our BWE Bulldogs to know that all roads lead to Grand Oaks and they too are part of the Grizzly Nation! All our Grand Oaks families are encouraged to "Blue Out" on Monday as we kick off homecoming week! Check out this video from our Grand Oaks principal and join us in celebrating homecoming and Read-4-A Better Life with the fun dress up days.
