This week we are fully into the second quarter! While no one could have predicted virtual learning would still be occurring eight months later, our students and teachers have amazed me with their ability to adapt. Report cards will be shared via PlusPortals on Thursday November 5.

This Wednesday is an HSA meeting and the Chipotle Fundraiser. Please see below for more details. Thank you to the HSA for a wonderful Trunk or Treat and Drive-In Movie this weekend!

DeMatha and Elizabeth Seton High School are partnering to have a soccer combine for 6th - 8th grade girls and boys on Sunday November 8th, 2020 from 12:30pm - 2:00pm at Elizabeth Seton High School. There is no cost to attend.

It will be a fun afternoon of soccer! Meet and train with DeMatha & Seton Soccer Coaches plus some of our current players! Space is limited (due to COVID restrictions) and everyone must pre-register by using this link: https://forms.gle/S2aBipXH3Xb289cj9

We will be following COVID protocols (physical distancing, health pre-screening, etc). Additional details and a confirmation will be emailed to you a few days prior to the event.

Attached you will find a flier for the event as well. We hope to see some of our Middle School students representing SMA!

Washington CYO is currently working towards offering a CYO Basketball program this winter even thought there are many hurdles and uncertainties to face. Currently basketball games are not allowed due to local and county restrictions. The season will almost inevitably be delayed but I would like to first gauge interest in playing basketball this season and prepare to play. If the CYO is able to schedule a season it will most likely start in December in a limited capacity. Signed participation waivers will be in place for all individuals on the roster.

Please assist me in completing the following items:

1. Return any athletic items belonging to St. Marys to the school office. (Uniforms, basketballs, bats, helmets, soccer balls, etc.)

2. Notify me if you are interested in participating in Basketball or Softball this school year.

3. Attend the required training if planning to coach or assist in CYO Sports (Vertus, PLACT, Concussion, Heat Illness)
