We Are Easton
Superintendent Information
Dear Jaguar Families,
Huge thank you's go out to Easton Fire Auxiliary, Easton School ASB and the Jag Leadership class for all their hard work in putting together the Holiday Potluck held last Friday at the school. Lots of smiles, good food, and good times were had by all. Thank you again for making this happen and thank you to everyone that attended.
In January, the School Board, staff and community will begin the process of developing a "strategic plan" for Easton School District. Along the way of developing this plan, the Board will be asking for parent and community members to provide input and guidance on the plan. More information about developing Easton's Strategic Plan will be in upcoming newsletters.
Also looking ahead to January, please note that Friday January 5 school will be dismissed at our regular time of 3:05 pm not early release schedule.
Easton is a special school with a great staff and great students.
Our staff works very hard each day to support your student. They support them when they need support and they provide accountability when they need accountability. Due to our small size and talented staff, Easton is able to personalize a student's education in a way that few schools can. We are have and will continue to make changes that makes Easton the special school it is . I feel very fortunate to be part of it.
As this is the last Jag News before we go on Winter Break, I want to wish everyone a restful break and enjoy the extended time with family and friends. Thank you again for your ongoing support of Easton School and our students.
Have a great Winter Break and Go Jags,
Aaron Kombol
Superintendent

"Thank you"/Kindness Wall
Thanks to a grant from Easton Washington University, Easton now has access to an electronic "Thank You / Kindness Wall".
Thank you walls provide a method for people to share thanks you's, recognize others, wish Happy Birthday, or just send positive thoughts to others. Traditionally, message walls are on paper, as in the image. However, the grant allows us to broadcast our messages.
Easton's "Mojo Message Wall" is accessed at:
https://youuplift.com/easton-school-district-kindness-wall/ (please bookmark)
There is also a link on our website. Once a message is submitted, it is reviewed for content and then posted on our TV in the Commons area, on the Message Wall webpage, as well as on our website.
The message wall is open to all, students, staff, community, parents. etc. anyone who wants to send a positive note or encouraging message to others.
