Welcome to week 3!
Great Aussie Bush Camp
Yesterday our Stage 2 students, staff and parent helpers headed off to the Great Aussie Bush Camp for three days of activity, fun and excitement. For many students, an experience like this is the first time they have spent time away from family and often the first experience of an overnight excursion / sleepover of any type.
Excursions like these take many hours of planning and coordination to ensure smooth running and maximum opportunities for fun!
I know our students will return with wonderful memories and terrific stories to tell.
Thanks to our staff for their commitment to our students, their time away from their own families and for their energy to last the distance of two and a half days and two nights!
Ms Blanch, Mrs Toll, Mr Manners, Miss Brown and Mrs Woolley - you're all amazing!
Kinder 2023 Parent Info Session
Last Thursday evening we welcomed the parents of our 2023 Kindergarten students to an information session. It was lovely meeting new families and wonderful also to see some familiar faces!
Thank you to Jorjii McRae for delivering the Acknowledgement of Country. Thanks to Miss Clunes, Mrs Hanckel, Mrs Williams and Mrs Mackay for providing an informative and interesting session.
We look forward to meeting our new Kindergarten friends soon at Orientation visits.
Our wonderful canteen supervisor, Amanda has organised a special lunch order option for students, staff and community members on our picnic /Aboriginal Games day.
We are asking for some volunteers to assist in the canteen to help prepare these lunches on Tuesday 8 November. If you can spare some time up until our picnic lunch at 1.15pm, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please contact Amanda in the canteen if you can help.
Second Hand Uniform Shop - Donations Needed
We are seeking donations for our second hand uniform shop of MPS branded uniform items (only). If you have any that no longer fit, please send them in. Many families benefit from your donations.
Thank you.
Have a wonderful week everyone,

All students should be extremely proud of their performance and are to be congratulated on how they conducted themselves whilst representing our school.
The competition was tough, but the MPS Concert Band came away with a commended award on the day. Well done to all our students and a huge thank you to the parents and carers who made the day possible!
