On Tuesday, December 10th, the Board of Education will be meeting for a special discussion session from 4:00-6:30. The purpose of this session is to give the board members an opportunity to discuss all of the data and input collected from the community to date regarding the potential reconfiguration of the two RVCS campuses and Spring Creek/Matanzas campuses. There will be opportunity for public comment at the beginning of the session. We will also be collecting written comments throughout the meeting that will be passed on to the trustees after the meeting is over. This discussion session was rescheduled from its original date of October 30th. The October 30th meeting needed to be rescheduled due to school closures.
Additionally, public comment can occur on any topic, including reconfiguration, at the regularly scheduled board meeting on that same evening at 7:00pm. Please note that we are on a slightly different schedule this Tuesday for our board meetings:

Topics presented at the board meeting include honoring certificated and classified staff, Local Control Accountability Plan update, Student Services Update, a recent Demography Study for our district's enrollment projections and the First Interim Budget Report.
