Brownstown Elementary Braves

School will NOT be in session October 9th-13th.

There will not be boys open gym during fall break.

If your child is unable to be at school, feel free to email Amanda Hoene at ahoene@btownccs.k12.in.us or call 812-358-3680 to report absences. Absences must be reported within 24 hours to be excused.

T-shirt order forms have been distributed. More copies are available at the office. Turn in at archery practice or the office by October 20th.

Any changes to students transportation home for the day needs reported before 2:30pm.

If you are picking up a student with a red car rider tag, please do not line up until 2pm. If you arrive early, please find a parking spot. This is a new safety protocol that helps protect our students during the day.

Annie Austin earned her AR t-shirt. Carlyn Cherry, Parker Gay and Kip Williams earned their AR water bottles this week! Keep up the good work!

Starting Monday, October 2nd, Ice manufacturing presents to you: Brownstown Elementary Makerspace! Ice manufacturing gave BES Makerspace a grant to help us get started with projects.

The machine is located in the lobby at BES. Students will be able to purchase items from the vending machine. Items are priced from $1-$5. Proceeds will be given back to makerspace for other projects.

All 5th grade boys interested in playing basketball must have a sports physical on file in order to participate. The first practice will be October 17th from 5-6:45pm in BES gym.
