- Winter sports season is just around the corner, make sure you have the following completed so you can participate:
- Go to CRHS Athletics to register. The user may need to Sign Up to open an account. Once all the information has been completed, the user will receive an email verifying that registration is complete. If an email is not received, registration has not been completed.
- Once all the information is completed on Form ReLeaf, students must take a physical form, found at the top of the registration page, to their doctor to fill out. Once the doctor completes the form, it must be given to the Athletic Director. If students are members of CRHS Wellness they can get a free physical but appointments are limited. See the nurse to see if an appointment is available (Physicals are good for one year from the date the doctor signs it.)

T.O.U.G.H. Students of the Month
Ty Strong is the student of the month for the Class of 2027. Mrs. Ozman nominated Ty for going above and beyond. She said: “Ty sets a great example for what it means to be a student-athlete. He goes above and beyond every day, getting to class on time, never having his phone out during instructional time, taking his time on assignments, and ensuring that all his work is done to the absolute best of his ability. Ty is truly Colonel TOUGH.” While Ty has not yet decided what he wants to do after CRHS, he knows that his favorite class so far has been Gym with Mrs. Verdery. He says: “She is nice and she makes her class very fun.” In his opinion, obtaining your goals is the most important part of being TOUGH because it shows that you are trying and putting in effort.
FUN FACT: Ty has been playing soccer for 11 years!
Mallory Morris is the student of the month for the Class of 2026. Mallory was nominated for all aspects of our #ColonelTOUGH motto by Mrs. Miller, who stated that “Mallory always treats others with respect, and works hard to obtain her goals. When given an assignment she is the first one to begin completing her work. Mallory displays heart and goes above and beyond in the way she always looks after and helps her classmates.” Mallory’s favorite class is Gym. For her, treating others with respect is the most important part of being TOUGH because “we should be nice to people.” When she grows up, Mallory wants to work at a hair salon.
FUN FACT: Mallory likes to go bowling!
Wilson Clough is the student of the month for the Class of 2025. Mrs. Smith sent in Wilson’s nomination for going above and beyond. She noted that “Wilson always has the highest of expectations for himself in class. Wilson went above and beyond & challenged himself on an assignment to create a periodic table of at least 15 items by designing a periodic table of musical instruments.” Wilson’s favorite class is Band because it gives him the “freedom” to play his instruments. After CRHS, Wilson wants to go to college for computer science and play in a college-level band! He has lots of thoughts on TOUGH-ness: “To me, being TOUGH is as simple as doing a good turn daily. It means that you are doing something just a little extra. To me, treating others with respect is most important.”
FUN FACT: Wilson plays over 60 instruments!
Tyla Dickerson is the student of the month for the Class of 2024. Tyla was nominated for obtaining goals and going above and beyond by Mr. Shaheen, who reported that “Tyla goes above and beyond in Strength & Conditioning to work toward her goals even while being a member of the varsity volleyball team. She always has a great attitude and is a role model for her peers!” Mrs. Verdery has been Tyla’s favorite teacher because “she strives to make everyone feel welcome and has meaningful, real world conversations with her students.” For Tyla, being TOUGH means being kind to yourself and to others. She says “I believe that you should go 110% in everything that you do.” After graduation, Tyla plans to attend a 4-year college and work to become either an athletic trainer, or a sports broadcaster.
FUN FACT: Tyla loves shopping!
