Make-Up Days for all MCAS Tests: May 22-25

If you haven't completed your child's kindergarten application for the academic year 2023-2024, we encourage you to contact Mrs. Frommer as soon as possible to begin the registration process. Please note that after submitting the application, the next step is to complete the online registration, unless your child is currently enrolled in a district preschool program.

All children who will be 5 years old by August 30, 2023, are eligible to participate in this comprehensive program, which runs full-day and five days a week, without any tuition fees.

A parent open house is being scheduled for later in May. Details will be shared with families who have submitted a Kindergarten application as soon as they are available.

Join us for the annual Spring Fling family dance! On the evening of May 19th, we'll be hosting a glow party! Bring the whole family to MRE for some neon-themed dancing! More info to come.

Join us at the Mary Rowlandson Elementary School Auditorium at 103 Hollywood Dr. Lancaster, MA, Mondays through Thursdays in July for an opportunity to experience drama, music, and dance.

As you may be aware, there is extensive road construction occurring in close proximity to the school. If you plan on driving to pick up or drop off your child/children, we kindly request that you allocate additional time to accommodate potential delays. Additionally, for students who rely on the school bus, we suggest that you allow for some flexibility in the pick-up and drop-off times as the drivers are doing their best to navigate all of the routes.

Please note that we are not associated with the construction project and therefore, we are unable to provide any assistance regarding traffic issues caused by the construction. The Lancaster Police Department is collaborating with the construction company to minimize traffic disruptions whenever feasible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.

Students entering 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade in the fall of 2024 are encouraged to participate in MRE's summer reading log!

Did your student accidentally leave something at home, like a water bottle or a library book? Don't worry! At school, they can quench their thirst from the water fountains using cups or grab a drink from the cafeteria. If they forgot their library book, that's perfectly normal and happens to many students. During their library period, they can browse through a variety of books just like their peers. They can return the book during the next library period or we can arrange for them to do so on another day. Forgetting things is a natural occurrence and helps students realize that they can adapt and come up with backup plans.

neither sponsored or sanctioned by the Nashoba Regional School District.**

Come enjoy some fun musical selections at the Nashoba Regional High School in May!

NRHS Spring Concerts:

• NRHS Bands will perform on Wednesday, May 17th at 7 pm; the concert will include a special recognition of the seniors as well as a "live movie trailer" for How to Train Your Dragon
• NRHS Choral groups will perform on Wednesday, May 24th at 7 pm

Admission for the high school concerts is $5 per person (seniors and students are free), payable at the door.

All concerts are held in the NRHS auditorium (12 Green Road, Bolton, MA). These concerts are family friendly...younger musicians are especially encouraged to attend. Come and enjoy music at Nashoba Regional High School!

The Lost and Found is growing again with sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes and more. There are two watches as well (pictured) which I have in the main office for safe keeping. Please remind your student to stop by the Lost & Found to check for missing items.
