Menu Change: Due to food issues, our menu on Monday, April 11 has had to change slightly. Breakfast will be Omelets and Fruit. The lunch option #2 for our 6th grade students will be Cook's Choice.
CSCO Meeting Moved To Monday, April 11, 2022: The April CSCO Meeting is being moved to Monday afternoon at 4:30 PM in the Preschool Commons Area. We hope anyone interested in helping make our school and community a better place can attend!
Thank You to Stockmens Bank: We wanted to say thank you to Stockmens Bank for providing staff and students with our Proud Pirate t-shirts this year! This is the third year in a row for this amazing gift! We are so thankful for our community partners!
Kindergarten Preview: If you have an incoming kindergarten student, mark your calendars for Friday, April 29, 2022 for Kindergarten Preview. It will be from 8:05 AM-10:15 AM on that day. Incoming kindergarteners and their parents will get to eat breakfast in our cafeteria, visit the kindergarten classrooms, tour our school, visit the Book Fair, play on the "big" playground and take a short bus ride! Be watching for more details coming home soon with current preschool students!
CSCO Princess Ball: Princess Ball forms went home a few weeks ago. Any princess aged birth through 6th grade and an important adult is invited to attend this event. Forms and money are due by Friday, April 22, 2022.
Junior High Schedule for Current 6th Grade Students: Sixth grade students met with our 7th-12th grade counselor, Mrs. Mease, last week to rank their top three elective preferences for next year. Mrs. Mease sent an email to parents of 6th grade students explaining this process to the email we had listed on file. If you have any questions, regarding your child's 7th grade schedule, please contact Mrs. Mease at measet@crane.k12.mo.us.
Easter Parties: We will be having our class Easter Parties on Thursday, April 14. The AM Preschool Sessions will have their parties from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM. Everyone else will have their parties from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. We are opening these parties to parents if you would like to attend at those times.
Candy Donations: Thank you to everyone who sent in candy for the Easter Egg Hunt! We appreciate the support!
Spring Pictures: We have a new portrait company, Wagner Portrait Group, taking our Spring pictures of our students and class photos on Thursday, April 21.

Cox CARE Mobile Coming to Crane: The Cox CARE Mobile will be coming to Crane on May 5th and May 11th to provide students with needed services. They will be offering PK/K immunizations and sports physicals for students in grades 5th-12th grades who plan on playing a school sport. Details are shown in the image below. No Honor Choir: Honor Choir will be taking a break from practices for a little while. Stay tuned for when these practices will start back up!
Absences: If your child is going to be absent from school, regardless of reason, we need you to call the Elementary office to let us know. Transportation Changes: We understand plans can change throughout the day. If transportation plans change for your child, please call the office to let Whitney know so she can ensure your child gets the message. Some parents have been messaging teachers on Dojo and there are days teachers do not see messages until after students have left for the day. We would hate to miss an important message!
