Intermediate & Advanced Band Concert: Thursday will be the first Fall Band Concert since December 2019! Mr. Dyer and Mr. Crane are very excited to have students performing again. The concert will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the SMS main gym.

Coming Soon: SMS will soon be hosting two new clubs. The first will be the Archery Club run by Mr. Simpson. This club will be offered two days per week so that more students may participate. There will be a fee for this club due to the cost of supplies used. The second club will be a Dungeons & Dragons Club run by Mr. Rowberg. Details on this club are limited and will be provided soon. Please watch for more information on both clubs. If your student will need transportation home after club meetings, please see the information below regarding the Activities Bus.

Scholastic Reading Club: Ordering books using Scholastic helps the SMS Archer library! Orders are placed on or before the third Friday of each month September through May (with the exceptions of December). Place your order online or by using the flyer and a check. PLEASE NO CASH. Hand flyer orders into the library. To place an order online, sign in and/or register at: https://clubs2.scholastic.com/. For first-time orders, enter our school's/class activation code: GX3NZ. With each order, your child receives a prize and a free book. Your purchase earns the library points to buy new books for its collection.

Activities Buses for Middle School Students: Beginning November 1st two activities buses will be available to transport middle school students home. There will be an East Route and a West Route that will serve SMS students. The buses will run on each school day. Pick up will be at 4:30 each daily except Wednesday which will be at 3:30 at the front of the school. If you find that there is not a stop for your student close to your home, you may contact the Transportation Dept. and they will add the stop within 48 hours.
