School Boards Lead So Students Can Achieve!
The Minnesota School Boards Association has set February as Minnesota School Board Recognition Month to build awareness and understanding of the vital function elected school board members play in our society. Windom is joining other public school districts from across the state to celebrate School Board Recognition Month to honor local board members for their commitment to Windom and its students. Thank you to Dustin Stevens, Joel Bordewyk, Joe LaCanne, Bruce Mews, Brianne Miller, Barb Jones, and Angie Klassen for serving our district.
Congratulations Windom Area Middle High!
Congrats to Windom Middle High for your achievement as an AVID Schoolwide Site! Embedding AVID into lessons daily teaches students how to collaborate, take notes, learn from the notes, write, read, and organize to help them learn. This will prepare students for college, a career, or life in society. Keep up the great work Middle High!
Congratulations to the Robotics Teams
Congratulations and Good Luck to the Middle and High School Robotics Teams. They will be competing at the State Tournament on March 2 & 3. Go Eagles!
Fall Soccer Program Expansion
Madelia joined the Windom and St. James Soccer Pairing. This will allow both boys' and girls' teams to compete at a JV and Varsity Level next fall.
