'Together, We Can Make a Difference.' October 25, 2019
Principal's Point
Thank you for a great first grading period! Students and staff worked hard to move learning forward! And, we appreciate all of our parents for taking the time to participate in Parent/Teacher conferences. This was a wonderful opportunity to share from both sides. As we move forward, the days are becoming cooler and students will still be going outside for recess. Please ensure that your child(ren) are dressed in warm clothes, coats, hats and gloves.
If you are in need of these items, please let us know. We may have resources to help. Also, you may have gently used coats in your closets that could be put to good use. Please consider donating them to school to be given to another student.
Tonight is our Parents’ Night Out / Costume Contest. Students may wear Halloween costumes (without weapons and masks). Join us from 5:45 - 7:45 pm for an evening of fun activities and pizza! Cost is $5 each for PTA members and $7 each for non-members.
Have a wonderful weekend. Mr. Butler #TAKEACTION

Halloween Safety Tips
2.Put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don't run, across the street.
3.Teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
4.Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to the left as possible.
5.Watch for cars that are turning or backing up. Teach children to never dart out into the street or cross between parked cars.
6.Join kids under age 12 for trick-or-treating. If kids are mature enough to be out without supervision, tell them to stick to familiar areas that are well lit and trick-or-treat in groups.
