Gator Greetings
The Book Fair ended with a bang and ALL students were able to purchase a book thanks to your generosity at the Prize Drop Box. A huge shout out to Mrs. Weiger for coordinating another wonderful Book Fair and all our parent volunteers for helping. Blue IV, the Butler Bulldog, made a special visit to Ms. Christensen’s class this week to share a book about himself as a mascot. Our 5th Grade had the hands-on experience of visiting Biztown today as they worked together to run a small city. Both learning experiences were interactive and so much fun!
Reminder to all families that the Student Ambassadors are sponsoring a Month of Giving to encourage students to give in a variety of ways during December. This kicked off with a Hat and Mitten Drive to which families can still contribute. Next week, the Ambassadors are challenging all students to bring in at least one canned good per student for the Canned Food Drive and add to the items displayed in our front lobby. The last week before winter break, Ambassadors will help spread kindness and joy by selling and distributing Candy Grams to friends around our school. Students can purchase Candy Grams for $1.00 during their lunch period.
Believe it or not, 2023 will be here before we know it. Please check out information for PTO’s Trivia Night on Friday, January 27th and Pacers Family Night on Friday, February 3rd. There are links to sign up in this week’s Gator Gazette. We hope to see many of you at both of these fun events!

Update from Mrs. Weiger
We had a fantastic Scholastic Book Fair. The Prize Drop Board was a huge success. Students donated $1 during their lunch period and dropped the token down the board. Everyone was a winner - and we collected enough donations to ensure EVERY student at AV got to choose a book from the book fair.
I'd like to send a HUGE thank you to all of the volunteers that gave of their time to make this book fair possible!
