8.1 District Student Artwork Presentation
A selected group of students presented artwork to the Board of Education. These pieces will be displayed throughout Central Office
Individual Action Items
The BOE approved entering into a noncompetitive procurement contract for food service with Quest Food Management Services for August 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024.
9.2 The BOE accepted the Certified Election Results of the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election. All races were unopposed

8.3 Farm 2 School End of Year Presentation
- Garden Coordinators are at all 10 schools
- Garden survey completed to inform garden development at each school
- Gerber School raised over $25,000 for a greenhouse!
Plans for next year:
- Farm to School Curriculum Kits will be available for check out starting Fall 2023 after successful pilot in April.
- Garden Kits will be piloted this month, utilizing the school garden as an outdoor classroom.
- Kitchen kits are in development for next year.
8.4 Wellness Committee Annual Report
- Recruited and invited committee members
- Reviewed School Wellness Policy language
- Educated committee about NSLP nutrition standards
- Updated usd116.org/foodservice webpage

Several USD116 Administrators gave the Board an update on the Consolidated District Plan for federal grants.
