Sophomores and Juniors, Don't Miss Out!
PA Free Enterprise Week is a hands-on summer opportunity providing participants with knowledge and skills to compete in the 21st Century workforce. Business leaders from around the commonwealth participate and advise students as they run their own businesses.
PFEW is a unique leadership opportunity for all students, not only those interested in business. There is a low cost registration fee ($295) for this week long learning experience and stay on a college campus.

What's So Cool About Manufacturing at Arcola!
COLLEGE CORNER from the Counseling Office
High School Counselors visited classrooms the week of Dec. 16th to present a PSAT score overview presentation to sophomores and juniors. Students received paper copies of their score report. Counselors walked students through the online portal teaching them to access their scores and showing them helpful tools for college and career planning. The PowerPoint is available on the school counseling homepage. you will find it on the left side titled PSAT 2019 Results Overview PowerPoint.
Don't forget there will be a parent night to go over PSAT results and talk about post-secondary planning on February 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Register in advance through the online high school calendar.

Teachers Go into the Manufacturing Workplace!
Methacton high school teachers have completed their first session of Teacher in the Workplace through the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. Seven teachers are visiting either the Health and Human Services, Construction, Manufacturing, or Hospitality and Tourism workplace. This is the first of five days where they will be learning about workforce needs and opportunities that they can share with their students. Pictured are Mrs. Kernan and Mrs. Brislin.
