Good Afternoon COBRA NATION!
I would like to thank our Cathey community for supporting our Cathey teachers and staff this first week of school. I met many of you during our drop-off/pick-up times and had great conversations. Thank you for your warm welcome to Cathey. We also loved seeing our students smiling, talking to their friends, and feeling safe, as they went on their day-to-day activities. Some have shared their experiences over the summer, others have shared their big plans for this year, and of course, everyone is waiting for the UIL/athletic season to officially begin and support all COBRAS. We also had our first Fire Drill and our entire campus performed at an exemplary level.
I am grateful and excited about the opportunity to continue building on our legacy of academic excellence and programs and maintaining our TEA "A" rated status with ALL seven distinctions. Our focus for the 2022-2023 school year will be driven by our Campus Improvement Plan, which will encompass initiatives, school-wide strategies, and strategic intervention programming aimed to support all students reach their highest potential and grow our enrollment.
As we continue to close instructional gaps, attendance is a high priority for our campus. Please communicate with your child's teachers and make sure that all assignments are completed or if any other support is needed to meet your child's needs.
