Update from AVUHSD
March 9, 2021
As COVID-19 case rates continue to fall in Los Angeles County, we look forward to the opportunity to return students to our classrooms for “At-School” instruction. In order to prepare for this return, please complete a brief survey for each student you have enrolled in an Antelope Valley Union High School District school.
At this time, we anticipate that students will return under the “At-School” Blended Model. This model will have students attending “At-School” in-person two days per week and participating in “At-Home” online instruction the other three days. Below you’ll find a sample comprehensive site bell schedule.
Students will be required to wear a face-covering at all times and practice physical distancing while on campus. Class size will be reduced to comply with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health requirements.
The District is committed to offering a full-time “At-Home Learning” option for families who do not want their student to return to “At-School” in-person instruction at this time.
Thank you for your support. Should you have additional questions, please contact your student’s school. Contact information can be found on your school’s website.
As always, we will continue to provide updated information as it becomes available.
