Centennial Celebration

As you may be aware, this upcoming year we will celebrate Glenbard West's 100th Anniversary. Our theme is “Celebrate the Past, Inspiring Our Future.” The school and the communities we serve are looking to make this celebration as inclusive as possible – we want EVERYONE to be part of the anniversary! Highlights of this year-long centennial are listed below:

• The Centennial Committee has adopted the above logo to be used throughout the year. Feel free to start using the logo immediately – we want the word to get out through social media, letters, and various campaigns.

• Let us know how you are using the logo and share it to #100GlenbardWest1923-2023.

• Our administration, activity director, and building leaders are planning a wide range of events throughout the year that will emphasize and commemorate our centennial anniversary.

• This year’s Homecoming celebration will be built around Glenbard West Centennial celebration. If your alumni group is interested in marching in the Homecoming Parade, please complete THIS FORM.

• The Centennial Committee, in collaboration with DuPage Foundation, has established a Glenbard West Centennial Foundation. The primary objective of the Foundation will be to endow an annual scholarship that will be awarded to a graduating senior who best embodies the ethos and character of a Glenbard West Graduate. More details of the celebration will be shared as they are planned so you can be part of this historic year. Our goal is to include the entire Glenbard West community in this year-long celebration.
