Newsletter Supporting Your Health and Well-Being
Tuesday, March 22, 2022
Dear Community,
We have officially “sprung forward,” and with it brings longer days and perhaps corresponding changes in your thoughts, mood, and energy. While each new season brings about hope, excitement, and anticipation, it also involves changing and adjusting our routines, which can make us feel stressed, out-of-balance, or uneasy. Cultivating a willingness to acknowledge and take our uncomfortable feelings “with us," instead of avoiding them, is key to freeing up space to make meaning.
As we navigate the process of adjusting and moving forward this season, we invite you to take time to notice what you are thinking, feeling, and doing.
- Embrace what is working for you
- Get curious about what is not, and;
- Enjoy spending time with the people, places, and things that matter to you.
In community,

Soup & Hope Series
This week's story features Zebadiah Hall, Director of Student Disability Services (SDS) at Cornell Health. A Chicago native, Zebadiah came to Cornell with his wife Leslie in 2019. Zebadiah and his staff employ a Civil Rights for Social Justice approach to their work, an effort centered on students’ lived experience and self-awareness. An advocate for the principles of universal design and inclusivity on campus, Zebadiah says these efforts “allow people to change the world with their ability while educating the world about their disability.”
