Last week we took a CFA. We need to review these skills below to make sure that we are learning to our full potential before we move on to our next unit.

You will have until the end of the block Wednesday (even classes) or the end of the block Thursday (odd classes) to complete ALL of these activities.

What order you do them in is up to you, but you need to make sure that you complete all of them. At least one of these activities will be graded and put in the grade book. You do not know which one, so make sure that you complete all of them.

ALL OF THESE ACTIVITIES ARE INDIVIDUAL. You may listen to music on your headphones while you work.

You will get your CFA back, as well as a list of the questions you missed and your original answer. You will need to make corrections on your own paper. Set your paper up like the example included below.

When you have completed the corrections, staple all your things together and turn them in.

In order to do the retake option, you MUST complete these corrections as specified. You will not be allowed to try the retake until they have been submitted.

You have a short story unit test this FRIDAY.

Grab a review sheet off of the back counter and complete it according to the directions. This is your's to review until the test on Friday, at which point you will turn it in at the beginning of class.

Different ways to add suspense to stories.

For our comparison essay of "The Most Dangerous Game" and "The Sniper," the question was to compare how conflict in each story DEVELOPED the plot. The majority of us did not answer the question, but instead compared conflicts between the two stories.
