Mountain View Weekly Update

- Attention 8th grade parents: If you have not already done so, please complete the brief "End of Year Events" survey; a reminder was sent via email yesterday afternoon.

- Administration has received several reports from parents and community members concerned about student safety at the Borough Park Gazebo after dismissal. As applicable, please remind your child not to enter the roadway without looking and/or walk between and behind cars.

- The 2021-2022 Winter athletics season will begin on Tuesday, November 30 when the Lady Lions host Villa Walsh at Mountain View. We look forward to inviting spectators to the Mountain View gym to cheer on our athletes, therefore, it is imperative that students and parents review the spectator guidelines attached below. In advance, your cooperation is appreciated.

Happy Friday Mountain View! Last week's Advisory activity involved writing gratitude cards for staff. What I did not share last week is that the gratitude cards were specifically for Mrs. Hambos. Each student wrote a handwritten note expressing gratitude, sharing memories, and writing kind words for Mrs. Hambos as this week was her last week at Mountain View. The notes were heartfelt, funny, creative and genuine. Each note was placed into a scrapbook that was given to Mrs. Hambos as a going away gift. Mrs. Hambos LOVED it!

Our theme of gratitude will carry into next week’s Advisory lesson and activities as well. Enjoy your weekend, Mountain View!
