Bonham High School Board Report

As we continue our Race To The Top, our teachers and staff are not only disaggregating the data from our MAP Growth testing, but also implementing new strategies. In addition to our revamped Warrior Time for all testing students, our campus is implementing Friday writing prompts for every class that will focus on Main Idea, Summarization as well as Thesis Statements.

Bonham FFA is being represented by many students and their amazing projects. The number of hours that each of our students put into their projects may vary, but the dedication does not! Pictured below is one of our FFA members along with his Steers, Commercial Heifer and Market Fryers.

Our BHS Band has been very busy as of late. They have competed in numerous contests leading up to their UIL competition that begins on Wednesday, October 11. Go Warriors!!!

Our BHS Cosmetology II Students recently spent two days at The Premier Hair Show in San Antonio where they learned the latest trends from the top experts in the beauty industry and were able to shop the hottest brands at exclusive show prices! They even had a student get certified in eyelash extensions! Enjoy this short video of their trip!
