College Admissions Preview Night: January 4, 2023, at the Raccoon Exploration Center (REC) on Main Campus (6:30 p.m.)
Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to meet with admissions counselors from area colleges and universities to hear recommendations on courses and programs of study that can help to bolster your college application. Come and join these admissions officers and hear about the recommended college-prep courses they suggest based on your interest and passions. After their presentation, you can connect with our counselors to consider which of our programs and courses meet the expectations of the college admissions officers.
The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Raccoon Exploration Center on Main Campus. Please click here to register.
Program Information Night - January 11, 2023
Session 1 at 6:30 p.m. and Session 2 at 7:30 p.m. - East Campus
We offer several programs to support students in their identified post-high school pathways, including intensive college preparation and apprenticeship opportunities. Families are invited to learn more about these programs at our Program Information Night.
At these information sessions, you will explore which courses align with your goals and how the programs support your career pathways. Presenters will include administrators, counselors, teachers, recent alumni, students, and parents to answer your questions. If you cannot make the session, please feel free to contact the individuals listed below for a one-on-one meeting.
The programs will be hosted at East Campus on Wednesday, January 11, and we will offer two sessions per topic. The first session will start at 6:30 p.m., and the second session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please read the descriptions below and click here to register for the sessions that interest you.
Workforce, Apprenticeship, and Workplace Learning Opportunities

Students and families across all grade levels are invited to meet with Mrs. Stefan to learn more about the various programs designed to help students prepare for careers in the trades, nursing, or seeking youth apprenticeship opportunities.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme & International Baccalaureate (IB) Career Programme

Current sophomores focused on a four-year college pathway should come and learn more about the IB Diploma programme and the unique, rigorous, and prestigious two-year intensive college preparation opportunity. In addition, current sophomores who have identified a desire to focus their post-high school studies in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Business, Finance, or Computer Science should attend this session to learn more about the IB Career Programme, which infuses the development of personal and professional skills with innovative and hands-on content-based courses.
Global Scholars Program

All students at Oconomowoc High School (OHS) are invited to participate in the Global Scholars Program. This program encourages students to enroll in classes with global content in the arts, sciences, and humanities to prepare globally competent students who are career-ready. The program requires four components: curriculum, cultural literacy, co-curricular/ schools sponsored activities, and a service-learning project, all of which must have a global focus.
Dual-Credit and Start College Now

Come and learn more about the military recruitment and commitment process. This session will explain the recruitment process and discuss how the military can help support the 2 and 4-year college pathway as well.

OHS ACT Prep Schedule
The Wisconsin Test Prep course consists of seven sessions that focus on all four ACT® test subject areas. Because our curriculum uses actual ACT® test problems, students gain a distinct competitive edge on test day. For those students choosing to take the writing test, we include preparation during the reading session.

OHS Class of 2027 Raccoon Ready Virtual Pep Rally & Freshmen Information Meeting
Please join us for the Class of 2027 Raccoon Ready Freshman Pep Rally and Information Meeting on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.! All incoming freshmen, along with their families, are invited to access the OHS livestream feed for a one-hour special event that is designed to help students and families learn more about our academic programs, school culture, and the incredible opportunities that exist for each Raccoon during their four-year high school journey. We have found that this livestream event allows for families to enjoy time together and discuss the transition process.

Summer Camps at WCTC
Nitro-X Automotive Camp
June 26-30, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. | $125
During this week-long camp, middle school students work in pairs to build and modify a remote-controlled (RC) vehicle and race their vehicle on the last day of camp. They will also be introduced to career opportunities in automotive and truck maintenance programs while enjoying field trips to three local businesses. Learn more!
