Nature Trail Clean-up November 17 9-11AM
There will be plenty to do for grown-ups and kids alike! Our main goals will be clearing the pathways of fallen leaves and clearing out any plant growth that is obstructing the path or blocking signage along the trail. Please bring any tools that may help us accomplish these goals. Rakes will be the most useful tools. Gardening gloves will be a good idea for everyone as well as weather appropriate clothing and shoes or boots that can get wet or muddy. There will be a brief instructional chat at the start of the morning which will also include tips for being safe on the trail.
In addition to our usual trail cleanup, we will be planting our brand-new wildflower meadow! This new meadow will blossom this coming spring and will provide both amazing spring colors and quality habitat for the animals of the trail. We have 400 plants that need to get into the ground so we need all hands on deck to help construct our newest habitat feature!

Discover Greece!
This Week's Fact About Greece: The Greeks invented theater.
Did you know that the Ancient Greeks invented the theatre? They loved watching plays, and most cities had a theatre – some big enough to hold 15,000 people! Only men and boys were allowed to be actors, and they wore masks, which showed the audience whether their character was happy or sad. Some of the masks had two sides, so the actor could turn them around to change the mood for each scene.
