It's hard to believe that students will load the buses on Thursday and return to school. Summer seems to always go too quickly. We are excited about this school year and all that it holds! Our ACES staff is committed to serving our community well in all that we do!
We hope you will join us tonight for Back-to-School night from 5:30-6:30 PM. Meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, and finalize any last-minute details!

Notes from the Nurses Clinic
I’m excited for this school year to start to see the students again and hear about their summer. This year you will notice a change in the nurse’s clinic. It is still in the same location but has had a makeover.
Please look at your child’s immunization records and make sure they are up to date. If you have a question about your child’s vaccinations or if they need more, please email me or call and leave me a voicemail message. All vaccinations need to be up to date by the first day of school. If there is a problem, please let me know.
If your student has any medical concerns, please contact me prior to the first day of school. Although you may have it on your registration form or talked to their teacher I need to know too. Ex:(food allergies, bee allergies, asthma, diabetes, heart concerns, seizures, stomach concerns, broken bones, etc). This way the clinic is prepared to provide the best possible care for your student.
As in the past, if you want your child to have medications stored in the clinic please fill out the form on the school website (under Nurse's office then medication guidelines). Please label your medicine bottles with your student/student's name. If you have students in more than 1 grade level, they can use the same bottles as long as it is age appropriate. Please look at the bottle to see if your child’s age matches the dosage they are allowed to have. If you want your student to have adult strength medication vs child strength a doctor’s note is required.
I will be at Back to School night if you would like to drop off any forms or medications, see the clinic, talk to me personally or bring in supplies for personal medical needs. Hope to see you then! Please feel free to email me at bargerd@accs.k12.in.us or call the clinic phone at 260-692-1125 with any questions. I will be checking my messages regularly. I look forward to another awesome school year!
