Welcome Back

Owens Families,


We are so excited to welcome you back to the 2021-2022 school year! It was great to see so many new and returning faces last night at the Back to School Bash/Meet the Teacher. Thank you to everyone who attended, and a huge thank you to PTA for sponsoring such a fun event. We truly felt the Ohana spirit.


If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The best place to start is with your child's homeroom teacher. They have the information specific to your child and their grade level. The office is always here to assist as well.

First Day Procedures:


  • Doors open at 7:15 a.m.
  • Bell rings at 7:50 a.m. for announcements and for class to begin.
  • Dismissal is at 3:10 p.m.

Arrival Reminders:

  • Students may not be dropped off at any location earlier than 7:15 a.m. when our doors open.
  • PreK & Kindergarten (and their siblings in same car) may be dropped off at back doors.
  • Students eating breakfast at school in grades 1-5 should be dropped off at the cafeteria.
  • Students who do not eat breakfast at school in grades 1-5 at school should be dropped off at the front of the school.
  • Bell rings at 7:50 a.m.

Dismissal Reminders:

  • PreK & K car riders (and their older siblings) will be picked up at the back of the school. Please do not line up before 3:05 p.m. and do not pull all the way up to the covered area until buses leave.
  • First & Second grade car riders will be picked up at the front of the school as before.
  • Third, Fourth, and Fifth graders (and their siblings) will be picked up at the cafeteria drive like before.
  • BGC will be picked up by BGC staff from their classrooms.
  • Buses will load at the back of the school like normal.
  • Walkers will be taken to their normal location at 3:10 p.m.

Medications to be taken at school:

  • Please call our school nurse, Susan Crawford, at 903-262-2179 to arrange drop off and the medical form to be completed.
