Weekly Good News

During the BOE Regular Meeting on January 8th, high school students Kynlee Boomsma and Elisa Sieurin were recognized for their accomplishments. Kynlee was recognized for baking Christmas cookies for the district staff. Elisa was recognized for winning the Annual Christmas Card Contest. Congratulations Ladies!

On Thursday, January 11th, Dorr Elementary hosted their Blue Ribbon Ceremony at the FAC. Dorr and Pine Street Elementary students, staff, and community members all joined in to celebrate Dorr Elementary's achievements. Attendees were able to enjoy speeches, an award presentation, a video, and a special performance from the HS Band. A special thank you goes to State Representative Rachelle Smit for being able to join our celebration. Congratulations Dorr Elementary, this award is a huge honor!
