Superintendent Lone Finalist Matt Kimball Tours Raider Nation
Superintendent Lone Finalist Matt Kimball visited the Raider Nation on Wednesday, touring all four campuses. He met teachers and students and met with the administrative team.
Texas state law requires the superintendent candidate be named as the lone finalist for 21 days. After that time, SISD’s Board of Trustees will take action to finalize the Superintendent’s contract at a meeting. Upon final board action, Mr. Kimball is expected to assume the Sunnyvale superintendent position in early summer, succeeding long-time Superintendent Doug Williams who has announced his retirement.
