Hello Families,

Thank you for continuing to be such a huge support for our staff and students! We have had another great week! This next week will be a very busy one, so please note our upcoming events. All events are listed below, but just to recap, we have our Parents and Pajamas Reading Night on Tuesday at 5:30, the Back to School Rally at Arvest Park on Wednesday, starting at 5pm, our Watch D.O.G. kickoff night on Thursday at 6pm, and our first Rollins House Assembly on Friday at 2pm! We hope to see you at all of these events!

Student-led conferences are also coming up the week of September 25-28. Please look for a sign-up coming soon from the teacher!

The Back to School Rally at Arvest Ballpark is Wednesday, September 13th.

The 2023 Back to School Rally is a free event open to the first 10,000 students, staff, and family members affiliated with Springdale Public Schools.

The event will feature free parking, free admission, about 40 interactive and informative booths, free train rides, spirit performances by the district band, choir, cheer, and dance teams, on-field recognitions, and more!

Gates open at 5 p.m. The pre-game starts at 6 p.m and the Naturals play at 7:05 pm!

Har-Ber & Springdale High School will be hosting our 6th Annual Mini-WildDog XC Races this year!!

Race Days will be:

Wednesday, 9/20 @ Har-Ber High

Wednesday, 10/11 @ George Junior High School

Wednesday, 10/25 @ Sonora Middle School

All race days begin at 4:15 pm.

Tentative Schedule for Races:

4:15 pm 5th-6th Grade Girls (1.0 Mile)

4:25 pm 5th-6th Grade Boys (1.0 Mile)

4:35 pm K-2nd Grade Girls (0.5 Mile)

4:45 pm K-2nd Grade Boys (0.5 Mile)

5:05 pm 3rd-4th Grade Girls (1.0 Mile)

5:15 pm 3rd-4th Grade Boys (1.0 Mile)

Entry fees are $5 which covers ALL three race days!

We will send a sign up form home soon! We had a lot of runners last year! Many children were proud of themselves for accomplishing goals and completing the race! Our school won two trophies last year in the K-2 Boys and the K-2 Girls divisions! Let's get more runners this year!
