SIGN UP NOW: https://mybooster.com
THIS WEDNESDAY THE 12TH, STUDENTS GET TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BOOSTERTHON DANCE FIT DURING SPECIALS!
IF YOU HAVE NOT... SIGN UP NOW: https://mybooster.com
Goal: $40,000 for Playground and School Improvements
If you have never been a part of a Boosterthon Fundraiser, here is the gist:
1. Go ahead and sign up... students get credit JUST FOR THAT!
2. Students ask for families, neighbors, friends, etc. to "pledge" an amount of money for each lap they run (ex. $1 each lap) OR they can make a one time flat donation.
3. Each day between the 3rd and the 12th, we will listen to a Character lesson from the Boosterthon team, check our classes' fundraiser standings, and daily prizes are given to each student based the funds they raised the night before.
4. Then, on Wednesday the 12th, each grade level will have their Boosterthon Fun Run during specials! Students get a Boosterthon shirt and we get to "mark" the back every time they run a lap!
5. At the end of the run, all funds are collected based on laps ran or flat donations.
OUR CLASS CURENT STANDINGS: $18 per minute danced!
Valentine's Day
Due to Valentine's Day falling during our February Winter Break, Camp Creek Elementary will hold a CARDS ONLY Valentine's Exchange on Wednesday, February 12th.
Students will get a large white envelope to decorate at school for collecting Valentine's Cards in. We are asking for students to bring a class set of small cards/candy only. (Please see below for examples)
Camp Creek has very firmly stated that there will not be Valentine's Day parties, class treats, goody bags, etc. Students will also not be bringing in a box/bag from home. They will use the provided envelope. Thank you for understanding.

Kindness Week (Next Week)
Support Student Council - Buy A Candy Gram
If your child brings $1 to buy a candy gram for a friend, it may be best to also send them with a notecard that has the friend's first and last name, and the teacher if possible!
Parent Placement Forms
Parent Placement Preference Forms are coming home today in your child's Friday Folder. These forms are used to gather parent input on your child's needs as our administration begins making classes for the upcoming school year. Please fill it out and return it to school by Friday, February 28th!
Classroom Reminders
We eat snack in the afternoon due to an early lunch! Please send your student with one small snack each day.
Please be sure to send your student with a jacket every day for recess. We do still go outside when it is cold, unless the temperature drops significantly and it is deemed unsafe.
We encourage students to bring a water bottle daily. Please make sure it only contains water.
Important Dates and Activities
Dates can be deleted, changed, or be added so please be sure to always check parentsquare for any teacher communication throughout the month pertaining to school events and other information.
