Spanish III students are finishing the filming of their natural disaster newscasts. Students worked in pairs to research natural disasters of an assigned Spanish speaking country. They then created a newscast to inform the audience about the disaster that occurred by answering the five Ws of Who, What, When, Where, and Why. Afterwards, they filmed their newscast using GreenScreen to make it appear as if they are in a newsroom. Many groups also went "on the scene" to give live coverage of the disaster. These girls are reporting live (virtually) from a flood that has devastated an area of Colombia.
