Hello Families,
We held our first assemblies of the school year. These were grade-level assemblies to Celebrate the many achievements of our students. We enjoyed performances from our Drumming class and Dancers, presented our Core Value Recognition Awards, highlighted students with good attendance and had some fun with Color Clash competitions. It is always a great day when we can come together as a community to cheer each other on and recognize our students' greatness.
We have a partnership with the Blazers and their Rip City Achiever program. Through this program, any student on the list of good attendance can select a basketball game to attend. You can check out the list of students in the Presentation slides (slide 16, 17 and 18) from today's assembly. Students recognized for Attendance can see Mr. Evan in Room 221 to select their game.
