Book Fair

Dear Green Meadow Families,

I’m excited to announce that we’re able to hold a book fair in our Green Meadow Library this year! Students will visit the book fair during their library class time, and have the opportunity to buy books and create a wish list of books that they like. Books range in price from $5.00 to 30.00. If you would like to participate, please send your child with either cash or a personal check (made out to Green Meadow PTO) on the day that they visit the library (please see the library class schedule below to find your child’s library date and time).

In addition to students visiting the book fair during school hours, the book fair will be open to families after dismissal on Monday, March 6th, and Tuesday, March 7th, from 3:00-4:30. Please check in with the office for a visitor pass before visiting the book fair in the library. You will also have an opportunity to purchase a book for your student’s teacher from their wish lists. All book fair profits will be used to update and maintain the school library, and classroom libraries.

This short video has been created by our IT Director Adam Steiner, to help families access our District Wide Clever portal from home using a students QR Code or Google Account.

Students will need either a Chromebook from school or a computer or laptop with a built in webcam or camera.

Note: Student QR codes are used to access the school view of their desktop, Clever landing page, app bookmarks etc.

If you do not have a school Chromebook, students should log in to the Clever portal by clicking the following URL address:

Clever.com/in/maynardma

The following screen should appear.

Click “Clever Badge log in” on the right. This option gives students the ability to login like they do at school. Your child's teacher can help provide their Clever QR code or their Google Account information if you do not have one already.

If you do not have a Clever QR Code, students can click

“Login with your email account and password”

which is usually the students “First initial of First Name”, followed by the “First initial of Last Name” and their Aspen Student Id:

Example: Jane Doe 123456 would be jd123456
