Hello Primary Pups!
For a short week, it was certainly a busy one over here at Wall Primary! Our students enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving Feast and a creative "chalked walk." Thank you to our Nat'l Art Honor Society Wall High School students who volunteered to chalk our front walk for our Thanksgiving festivities! Special thanks to teachers, paras and parent volunteers who planned, prepared and sent in the different parts of the meal for our Thanksgiving "Tasting!" Our faculty and staff enjoyed a lovely spread of sweet and tasty treats, courtesy of our PTA and Parents! We are so grateful to our Wall Primary School Family and wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Dr. Handerhan and Mr. Smyth attended our virtual PTA meeting on 11/22 @ 10AM. They answered questions about the upcoming referendum vote and stressed the importance of getting out to the polls. Every vote counts, especially during a referendum vote. If you haven't had a chance yet, please visit wallpublicschools.org/vision for information about the special election. Please mark your calendars and encourage family and friends to do the same for DECEMBER 13th - and GET OUT TO VOTE! You are the future of our school community!
We have so much to be grateful for! I am so thankful to be a part of this wonderful school community. Our families, faculty, staff and students are such a special group!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Mrs. Embon
December News!
Your Vote Matters on Tuesday, December 13th!
As you know, the Wall Township Public Schools Dec. 13 bond referendum is quickly approaching. If you have not yet done so, visit wallpublicschools.org/vision for information about the special election. Please remember that many referendum votes are decided by less than 10 votes! YOUR VOTE MATTERS!!
Mark your calendars as well! A public virtual forum will take place Thursday, Dec. 1 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 pm. (This is separate and in addition to our virtual PTA meeting next Tuesday. ) Experts will be available to answer questions from the community regarding the referendum’s proposed projects, finances, timeline, and more. A link will be provided closer to the date.
Do you have a college student visiting home for Thanksgiving? Plan ahead to help him or her fill out a Vote By Mail application. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Dec. 13 or hand-delivered to the county office on the same vote date. If you have not received one yet and would like to vote by mail, make sure to request a ballot before Dec. 6.
At the Primary School, the Question 1 proposal would renovate restrooms and replace low-efficiency windows. All of the proposed improvements for Primary are in Question 1.
